Explores the theory and operation of the basic building blocks of digital electronics with emphasis on transistor- transistor logic (TTL) and complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) integrated circuit logic families; prepares for continued study of theory and operation of microprocessors and microcomputers.
