SSCI 111 - Engagement in Communities

2 Credits.

Provides an opportunity for students to learn about a local organization from an in-depth exposure and service experience. The primary focus will be on learning about the needs of a particular community and how an organization works to alleviate community problems. Critical to this course is both the service and reflection component of this experience. Courses offered every fall and spring semester.

Prerequisite(s): RDNG 52 (or ESOL 54) and ENGL 52
