Essential Skills for Leaders

Program Description


This program is for those who want to explore and expand their leadership abilities. Personal leadership skills are a value at any level of an organization. Business leaders work in a variety of sectors and organizations, and need to be ethical and accountable in their decision making, influence others, empower and expand the capacity of individual employees to build more productive teams, cultivate change, and create a diverse culture.

Program Objectives


CCBC Credential: Students will be awarded a Continuing Education Workforce Training Certificate and have access to a Continuing Education academic record (transcript).

Program Delivery


This program is offered in an in-person classroom/laboratory format.

High School Diploma or GED. Recommended 2-3 years of work experience.​

This program has no options for obtaining course waiver(s) for prior learning.

Application Process


To apply, go to www.ccbcmd.edu/apply and complete the CCBC Non-Credit Workforce Training Certificate application.  An email will then be sent with program information and any additional requirements necessary to apply for the program.

Open Entry – No screening or documentation required.
