• MASS 101 - Introduction to Massage 2 Credits. (lecture and lab, may be taken in spring)

Spring Semester Year 1

Students must be admitted into the program through the School of Health Professions Admissions Office to continue beyond this point. Deadline for spring admission is November 15.

• MASS 110 - Musculoskeletal System: Structure and Function 3 Credits. (lecture and lab)
• MASS 210 - Level I – Massage 5 Credits. (lecture and lab)
• MASS 221 - Massage Modalities 4 Credits.

Summer Semester Year 2

• MASS 220 - Level II – Massage 6 Credits. (lecture, lab and clinic)
• MASS 222 - Pathology for Massage Therapists 3 Credits.

Fall Semester Year 2

• MASS 212 - Kinesiology for Massage Therapy 3 Credits.
• MASS 230 - Level III Massage 6 Credits.
• MASS 240 - Seminar in Massage Therapy 3 Credits.

Note:

*If a student is required to complete ACDV 101 —Transitioning to College (1 credit), this course should be taken in the first semester and will increase the number of credits required for the certificate by 1 credit.

Massage Therapy Certificate Semester Sequence - Evening
