INTD 230 - Space Planning and Codes


3 Credit(s).

Focuses on program analysis and effective space planning to solve interior design and architectural problems. IRC (International Residential Code), IBC (International Building Code), ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), NFPA (National Fire Protection Agency), and other building codes are applied to design solutions. This course examines building systems (plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, wall assemblies, glazing) as well as equipment, and furnishings. Apply architectural graphic standards and create construction documentation. Course offered once a year (fall).

Prerequisite(s): INTD 111 INTD 240  and CADD 101
