PUBH 201 - Community Health Practices 3 Credit(s).
Provides an overview of the link between a community and its health practices. Students explore the real-world factors that impact the access to and the delivery of services in health promotion programs within community settings. The role of the community health educator is discussed in relation to the process of designing, implementing, and delivering community health promotion programs. Identification and analysis of various techniques, media, and approaches used in community health education are also explored. Course offered once a year (fall).
