MNTH 101 - Introduction to Mental Health

Presents a historical review of the attitudes toward mental illness; reviews roles and functions of professionals working with individuals with emotional, behavioral, addiction, and/or social problems, studies various treatment procedures used in the mental health/human services field, and investigates different facilities where treatment and services are available. NOTE: Course offered once a year (fall or spring).
