WELD 101 - Burning and Welding I

Introduces oxy-fuel braze welding, oxy-fuel flame cutting, and shielded-metal arc welding. Covers the history of welding, safety, and terminology. Develops correct welding procedures for various applications; uses lab work to enhance welding skills.

Prerequisite(s): RDNG 052  or ESOL 054  and MATH 081 ;
