PEIA 160 - Fencing

2 Credits.

Gives instruction in the fundamental and advanced skills of fencing, its rules and etiquette; emphasizes methods of gripping the foil, on-guard position, advancing and retreating, simple attacks and compound attacks, and methods of parrying the foil, sabre, and epee. This course may be used to fulfill two elective credits. Courses offered every fall and spring semester.
